and they have all probably been photografed by Anton Corbijn. WHAT IF THERE IS NO TOMORROW? THERE WASN'T ONE TODAY!

What else do they all have in common? They all release an album every three years or more, and only when the label says so.
P is now free to put out what he wants and when he wants, and how he wants (retail, mail-order/website sales, downloads). And the royalty rates are better. The only thing I miss about the old days is videos and decent B-sides to singles. But no-one puts out decent B-sides any more anyway.

They're all white and most of them suck...okay, minus Michael Jackson. He's clear and doesn't really suck. Oh yeah, and Elton John [This message was edited Thu Jul 3 7:39:27 PDT 2003 by okaypimpn]

I doubt MJ's current relationship with his label is anything to envy. He's about two months away from changing his name to

Some people on this site ALWAYS bring race into every topic. Everything always has to be related to black and white. They are the ones with the big chip on their shoulders. Some people think that good music consists of yo, yo, yo and bling, bling, bling along with some big ass booty swinging along to the beat. They have absolutely no concept of what real, great music is about. There are many great black, white, latino, asian etc..musicians out there, but you rarely see them on MTV which is a good thing IMO.

Bowie hasn't been as prolific since, but he hasn't been a slouch either.
