No.

The Truth
Come
The Gold Experience
prince
and if it counts, Exodus

In no particular order.

hmmm... I've always liked the stuff in the 90s, but when doing this list, and the 80s list, the 90s list was much more difficult to find 5 that were deserving.

If I had to combine the two lists, probably only one was on the list.

IMO:

1. The Gold Experience
2. prince
3. Graffiti Bridge
4. Diamonds & Pearls
5. Come

Black Album, Crystal Ball don't count since they are archive releases containing recordings made *before* the 90s.

Wow. 5 albums from the 90s... OK, I'd start with...
ummm... uh... er... then I'd add... oh... ummm...

Can I make this a top album list instead?

That would be... ummm... oh wow, this must be a trick question. I don't know if you were paying attention but most of his 90s stuff sucked.

TRON

Since no one's counting Crystal Ball, I'll leave that one out. Otherwise it would be his best from that decade.

1. Diamonds And Pearls
2. Come
3. The Truth
4. prince
5. The Gold Experience

I'm confused as to why everyone bags on Prince's 90's stuff. I guess it all depends on when you started listening and I came on with Diamonds and Pearls which is still my fave.

1.Diamonds and Pearls
2. Love Symbol
3.Come
4.TGE
5.NewPowerSoul

I'm sure everyone's gonna give me shit about 5 but I liked it and thought it was really funky. I dont' know if it's even considered an "official" Prince album, but since he was on teh cover I think it is.

1. The Truth
2. Diamonds & Pearls
3. prince
4. Gold
5. Graffitti Bridge

Emancipation could have been in there, but as an album its too long, and not focused enough to be "great" album.

Crystal Ball would've been in there, but I dont consider it a "proper" album. I got a massive buzz off crystal ball, as it was the first unreleased stuff id heard, and made me realise there was a lot more to prince than what simply appeared on the official releases.

1. Graffitti Bridge (just the Prince songs, though)
2. Diamonds & Pearls (1st half of the album only)
3. The Vault (I really love this one)
4. The Truth (because of Come back)

Maybe Come would be closest to No 5, but it was already difficult to find a No 4 for that period of time
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....
