Autism In Adulthood

We've all heard of kids who have autism. But what happens when those kids grow up?

Adults who live in their own world, require the same repetitive structure and constant supervision, and who have no social skills is the result of kids who grow into adulthood with autism.

And those with savant skills, like music, grow up to be Prince.

When Owen Husney took an 18 year old Prince to Los Angeles and pimped him to the highest bidder, didn't he realize something odd about Prince? And when Warner Bros. nabbed Prince, didn't they realize the person signing the contract probably shouldn't be signing anything?

I thought tobacco companies marketing to teens was evil. But Warner Bros. Records comes pretty damn close. Abusing a physically and mentally handicapped person is about as disgusting as it gets.

I take it you're kidding. Prince isn't autistic, he simply has no social skills and crap business sense.

Wow, how long have you been practising medicine? A diagnosis based on album releases, TV interviews and business decisions... if word of this groundbreaking achievement gets out, you'll be the talk of the scientific community!

As a parent of a 13 year old autistic, you have no idea what you are talking about.

People with autism usually display an incredible ability with mathematics. Prince obviously has little ability in this field. Maybe you are getting the word "Autistic" confused with "Artistic"? smile

Only two threads to date but both achieve a creditable standard of bullshit.
