Well actually there is not a whole lot to review. Due to the late announcement only a handful of people showed up. It was fairly surreal with the 6 or 7 of us sitting in the lobby wondering if anything was going to happen. One of the guests was controlling the cd player; playing Madonna's greatest hits.

The most interesting thing that I can say about the experience was that both Morris and Kirky were in the recording studio (talking to P I can only assume.) Kirky said that Prince had asked them if they wanted to rejoin the band for the European leg of the ONA tour. Apparantly Renato and John aren't really digging Prince's insane schedule or something like that. He also said that Larry might be joining the band for the Europe shows with Rhonda doubling on the stand-up bass.

Anyway the second most interesting thing was watching the everbeautiful Aura (as she is known in Paisley Park circles) do a hot little dance to Madonna. Then she got down on the floor and was doing crunches and sit-ups. An interesting night to say the least.

At about 3:30 they turned on the lights and we went home. They weren't lying when they said it would be a chill party.

The odd thing is that I kind of had fun.

I was actually kidding about Morris and Kirky saying they were asked to rejoin the band for the European ONA tour. Although they really both were back in the studio.

That was a cruel joke. I'd put up with a European tour even if we missed out on Blackwell. But since that tour doesn't look very likely... A POX ON YOU!

thanks for the review Lovemachine, my heart stopped for a second too NPS7. Just hearing that Kirky and Morris were hanging with Prince @ the Park makes me happy and very excited to see what's coming next.

We just hung out and played CD's till 3:30. It was nice to be back in the the park. I counted 11 people plus Charles Takumi Morris and Kirk. It was very odd. Hopefully we will have more fun this Friday?

The craziest thing that y'all missed was when "Wheelchair Mark" got up and started dancin! Man can he move! Guess he figured no one would let it out with so few of us there. At least they didn't play Days Of Wild, so I would've had to see him sing, "jockstrap fulla jizz" again.

OK you guys.....I've spoken to the gentleman in the wheelchair a few times at PP. And, I was originally told that his name was Mark. So, I've been calling him Mark all along. Then, I was at PP in January, and some other guy came up to me and started talking to me and he proceeded to tell me that the gentleman in the wheelchair isn't named Mark.....that his name is Brian. So, which is it? I didn't get the chance to ask "Mark" if his name is really Mark or Brian that night. So, what's the deal? Every time I've spoken to "Mark" he has always been very polite and sweet and strikes me as the kind of person that may not tell me that I'm calling him by the wrong name. LOL I just wanna make sure that "Mark" is his real name before I call him anything in the future. Thanks a million for helping me out here.

just remembering. He said the parties back then were really packed and there was a bar. so they were really kinda crazier.
