What happened to the DTT?

Hey, anybody know what happened to the Databank Transcription Team? The link hasn't worked for several days. I hope the site hasn't tanked... I've always relied on the site for any and all of Prince's song lyrics.

http://www.dttlyrics.com

Anyone know what's up? If it is gone for good (hopefully not the case), what's the next best site?

Thanks,
Kyle

That site was full of misinformation anyway. Even lyrics that were officially available were ignored for the DTT's own 'interpretations'. Inefficiency should not be rewarded.

It would certainly have been 'efficient' to have said: 'see liner notes' but it would not have provided accurate and complete transcriptions to all of the lyrics and supporting vocals sung on the recordings - which was the purpose of the site. The lyrics that were officially available were not ignored, but they were not followed if the words on the recording differed from the officially published lyrics. Transcriptions are vulnerable to mistakes - but the opportunity was available for people to submit corrections.

I thought it was a really useful resource. I've also heard that whoever was involved with it was put off by Prince's newly found religious beliefs and decided not to bother any longer.
I'll be VERY saddened if it has been put permanently out of action.

That's pathetic that people just absolutely hate Prince because he grew up and changed his point of view. Who needs a fan like that anyway. I hope that's not the case with the DTT guy.
