i just recieved the CD!

I can make copies of the artwork and stuff by DL the pictures off the NFO site. So I can probably send sum out...now i just gotta get sum damn CDR's

I just walked Therapy through using an ftp program!

Upload in progress!

ya know ftp was the original internet to my understanding. The military used it to transfer secret documents. It stand for File Transfer Protocol & was later replaced by the more user friendly http which stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.

Ive always though FTP could be huge in the relms of mp3 file sharing but its too hard to understand for a first time user & the only people I know that know how to work it are webdesigners.

So much potential with FTP for internet jams though transfering tracks is very easy, we should do some of that for NFO version 2. Have a guitar line from Otan, some vocals from Vina, some synth from JD & some Bass from me would be so cool! Even better, all 18 of us jammin on one track!!!

There is also the option of zipping up the wav files to save on space & download/upload time. The space & time saved is minimal but I can image it being hard to do if the wav files eceed 60mb

Hi, I've been pretty busy and haven't been home much. I've either been playing out or going to classes to obtain my Master's degree. My computer is being difficult and, although I've tried, will not let me do the FTP thingie. I have tried - I must admit I don't have a clue about what I'm doing, though. I will immediately get a CD in the mail with the WAV file of my song on it. That's it, right? I immediately jumped on the bandwagon to be part of the NFO project and am proud of what's transpired so far. When it's complete I promise to do my part to promote it, also. I'm looking forward to being a part of NFO volumes 2-22, too!
