We need a hook - 2 for a dolla!

Okay, enough Days of Our Lives, back to marketing and strategy meetings.

You'll notice first off, I've updated my signature to link to nfo.com, and I added a lame-o tag line - "prince fans | musicians"... so whenever I post OUTSIDE of this laundromat of a sub-forum, I'm pimping the new site...

see? pushing the site, in forums, locally.

But, unfortunately, "Prince Fans | Musicians" sounds about as exciting as my left sock. (The right one, not so exciting, but the left one... it's a thriller!)

So, can you creative tongue wagglers get to jabbering on a 3 - 5 word tagline that helps sell the UNITY and TEAMWORK that surrounds the POSITIVITY of the New Funk Order?

Y'all 'member them words, right?

Since we're IN prince.org, I think including "Prince Fans" would be good, so the other orgers would go, "oh, hey, I bet I know summa them mothers..." maybe even "P-Orgers In the Hayaouse", who knows.

So, then, really, let's shoot for two slogans - the inner sanctum slogan that sells the site to 'orgers, and the unedumacated slogan for them that just likes the funk, be it MJ, KC, R Kelly or Kelly Osbourne...

I'll try to help get your balls rolling:

more than a funkfull: NFO
the stank is heavy: NFO
the beat, the groove, collectively: NFO
NFO: The Revolution Has a Beat

Hey, that's a great one, but I'm trying to aim for a line that says the following ideas:

Funky Music
Do it yourself/Indie Musicians,
A collective/compliation of musicians from all over the place

"Check out this Mothafunk" is awesome, except it could easily be one guy all by his lonesome, it falls short of the "collective" vibe we're offering. Does that make sense?

But don't stop! Keep going with this. I know there's a good tag line somewhere...

Of course, "New Funk Order" alone tells half the story, we just have to convey the "more than one band/musician making free CDs to anyone who asks, bound by the internet, globally".

Any ideas?

Oh don't get me started. I worked at a fetish bar designing flyers for 2 years.

I've got hook lines, headlines and taglines that would make you curl up in the corner in fear.
