go to www.tascam.com and click on the US sight... there's an article there called "everything you ever wanted to know about setting up your pc for recording".. i found this a very informitive article...a must read for those starting out..there's also an article about tweaking XP..which has improved my track count etc.. even if you know a lot.. these articles are still a great read..hope this helps someone..
