NPGMC against Gay, Lesbian, bisexuals

in my time in the NPGMC i come to notice that the npgmc has a history of taking shots against these groups of peopel, using the "bible" as there reference of hate against these people. Is the man who once sang about "letting his body be free" in sexuality, the same man who dressed in clothing design in womens fashion, the same man who wears make-up almost to the limits of being "dragg", the same man who once sang about "sleeping in between the two of us" is he now sponsoring anti-gay topics in the chat. Is the man who once used a name "camille" inspired by a transvestite now condeming anything outside of "conventional" relationships.

the first topic being "what does the bible say about homosexuality" this was posted for discussion on Gay Pride day

the second being "what are ur thought on a Gay Bishop" posted the day after a clergy man was appointed Bishop while being openingly gay. and while in discussion they never mention the cleryman by name only referred to him as a gay bishop who would have to omitt referrences to homosexuality from his sermons.. and when asked about the other clergymen who delete other refferences from the bible, i was told by the Paisleyparker that that subject was off hand.

and now "Gay Marriages what are ur thoughts"

i have personal chatted with several of the paisleyparker and they were totally against "these groups" of people. And used the bibles "abonmination" of these people when asked what did they feel about these people. one even stated that they had no knowledge of members of these groups of people in there membership.

I wonder is THE NPGMC taking the stand against gay rights. If so what should they do with all the money that they generated from "these groups" of people through out the years? should they return it or remain hyprocrites?

has love4oneanother turned to love4all those who are not gay lebisan or bisexual transgenders and so forth, for the its fire and brimstone.

if this is true about the NPGMC is the revolution now against those who onced help librated ones sexuality.

I really don't want to touch any of these subjects with a ten foot pole. I have expressed my views on two of those three subjects over there but, I will say this: If Prince ever comes out against homosexuals, I am outta here.

Did you know that the bible mentions Homosexuality as a bad thing only ONCE in it entirety...and even this is open to interpretation.

So all teh bible bashers can drop the "its menat to be Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" bullshit

is prince being a "pussy" by not openly taking a stand on this topic and just letting his "religious advisors" attack these groups of people on his behalf, while taking a 25 dollar donations to b apart of the congregation?

I must admit i do not like these kinds off topics, and i have let it be known in the chat room in the club, it causes separation where no separation need be. I totally dislike how some use the bible text as to upset another.

this does not suprise me in the slightest. aside from a few examples to the contrary, the org is very very very strong in it's belief that homosexuality should be treated no different from heterosexuality. you will often see people talking about their relationship and having it treated the same as any other relationship regardless of wether it is the same or opposite sex. for the most part, the org is pretty accepting and things are treated equal.

It's doesn't really suprise me, considering they have a stick up their ass about practically every other issue.

I'd just chalk it up as one more reason to cease doing business with that camp, if its against your own beliefs.

If thats the collective thought over there tho, its pretty sad his staff is more direct about where they stand than Prince himself.

I guess he's happy keeping his opinions hush as long as he's collecting money from us.

I've never been in the chat so I had no idea that these issues were floating around over there. It's really fuckin sad to say the least that Prince would have any issue with homosexuality or anything unconventional. This is a man who thrived on being everything but conventional. It is what drew most of us to him.

I understand people get older, they mature, they become different people than they were when they were young but this is the thing that makes me the saddest about him turning to religion. It hasn't enlightened him, rather it's putting fucked up ideas in his head about right and wrong and he's turning into something he once would have despised... A follower not a leader.

I've never encountered anything of the kind over there. I don't think it's as "gay-friendly" an environment over there as it is here, mainly because of the heavy moderation and censorship, but I think that's more cause-and-effect than anything else.

I've never felt alienated or on guard because of my sexuality over at the club, and while I have encountered some naivete on the topic over there, it's always been respectfully articulated.

Well Alex Hahn went as far to quote Prince as saying he'll never reform Revolution until Wendy & Lisa repent and condemn their current lifestyle so who knows?

While he was revolutionary in many ways (Image, groundbreaking crossover etc) he was also very conservative and uptight at the same time (His christian upbringing no doubt) so it wouldn't surprise me especially as there is no religion that is fundamentally accepting of sexuality preferences.

check out www.jesus.com

There are entire congregations teaching from the Bible and teaching respect towards homosexuality.

If Prince thinks homosexuals are evil, he should just come out and say it directly, not hide behind his Paisley Park trolls to mutter remarks.

Of course he would loose a good chunk of any future income by alienating that part of his remaining fan base. But what's more important to him, standing by his beliefs or collecting our money???

Sure but no major religious core, that's a shoot off, there's plenty of exceptions no doubt yet you or I could start our own religion tomorrow...

Well. he HAS expressed a kind of obsession with money in interviews in recent years. Money will probably keep him from mouthing his views. But I assume that he has them. I just think he learned his lesson from TRC where he was attacked in the press for his chauvanistic views on women.

Anyways, I haven't bought anything new from Prince following TRC. My conscience will not allow me to show him support in any way following his conversion to JW - that includes financially.

Bootlegs of his good old, pre-Larry and JW stuff is what is keeping my interest going.

if this is something new for "prince" then would it be better not to show such a blantant form of discrimination towards a group of people and just leave that part of peoples lives to there private quarters... and if its not new for "prince" then has he not lied and cheated people out of feeling some sort of comfort in knowning that there was someone on there side not to mention the false representation of himself just for the mighty dollar. And for those of u who don't know The gay community has a very strong power in spending expecially if it towards something they feel shows them any love or understanding.
rember back in the day noone was as understanding as prince.

what do u think would happen if in the gay community they found out that Prince via THE NPGMC was preaching that gays were to be abomished in hell.

i would imagine it would be a disaster for him. it'd be one thing if he had always preached that. but to embrace it and then turn on it would be disasterous to him. especially since he has many ga fans and really can't afford to lose any more fans than he already has.

I don't really care about what goes on in chat. And until there's a faithful transcript of anything substantially damning that resulted from a chatroom incident, I'm going to keep on not caring what goes on in chat. Communication on the Internet is tenuous enough as it is without the he-said/she-said of chatroom drama.
