Seems like the rumours and worries about ONA live being the last issue of this years club are still worrying some people.
According to my source there is no reason for that. There will be more music out this season. Please dont ask me about my source, just remember that it was the same source allowing me to post the complete dates of the European tour one month prior to the official announce by NPGMC. The dates were correct, although some slight changes occured as usual.
So take the info or leave it. I am looking forward to receiving some music after ONA live...

i'm pretty sure too, that ona live will not be the last cd. we will get another teaser at the end of the year so the most of us will resubscribe...

I never really had any doubts, NPGmc have done me proud (and I could not make the UK shows either), I am happy to support the club. I annoys me when all the negativity towards the club is continual, maybe now people will have faith!

And they sent me 3 copies of ONA PIANO!!!

This is really just another rumour. Even if the club plan to send out more music I don't see how they can realistically achieve it in the time they have left.

Though he could do it just causes its the end of the club rather than a holiday.

Well my sources says that there will be more cd's delivered,but won't be available till after the new year-probably around Feb.-March 2003-after you renew your NPGMC membership & they receive your payment!

NPGMC-16 August, 2002 said something like Dig if you will the picture...and then something about a 7 cd box !!
??? and a few days later day added something else in the same order that was later removed from the site, so what is the rumour ?? They probably don't even know it themselves !!

I book with pictures of the tour would be fantastic. I hope that comes along with the live set. Maybe thats what caused the delay.

It would be wise to release more music, if he wants anyone to even consider joining next year..

I love the "wait and see" attitude.

To be honest Im past caring about what Im gonna receive - Im always disappointed because I seem to interpret what they say as something entirely diferent to what they actually do...but thats just me.

However when I aske NPGMC about further releases after ONA Live tehy said that there were no other cds planned. Granted something may crop up between now and December when the membership runs out (YES IT DOES!!!) but you have to ask yourself - if its not planned now is it likelyto happen and,if it does,what kinda quality can you bang out in that short time. Look at how long ONA took to be put together and its crud!!!

well, my source didnt even seem to know what the last release will be really... so if he doesnt know I guess then Prince might not even have decided yet

No one would KNOWINGLY spend a 100 bucks for 4 CD's that they will be able to eventually buy for much less in a store. I don't think the Piano Demo CD will hit the stores in this life time, but IF (and I'm saying IF) we only receive the same 3 CD's as the public and NOTHING MORE then that would really suck.

I'm holding my finalized opinion until this years membership is finalized. After receiving the remix of the Rave album last year as an unexpected bonus, I'm hoping that we will see some type of bonus this year. I'm personally wondering if the cost of distribution has been the hold up this year. Who knows what we will receive in the box set. It may just be 7 CD's. I just find it hard to believe that someone would go through the trouble of making this club and then turning around and knowlingly screw thousands of FANS.

If you think about the cost of distributing stuff, it can get costly quick. The cost of sending a thousand CD's to 10 stores is a drop in the bucket compared to sending 1,000 CD's to a 1,000 different mailboxes. So think about it for a second. If you were paying the bill for the shipping what would you do. Personally, I would pack a lot of CD's into one package. So all we can do is just wait and see.

Who knows if ONA will ever be available to non-NPGMC memebers. I held off joining NPGMC Year One until the last moment since I thought for sure the downloads would become available on compilation cds. Still waiting for those compilation cds for year one. So don't bank on ONA becoming available - it might never happen. Just like the Hit N'Run cd singles.

ONA the original album will be availabl ein teh shops next year...or so they claim so all sensible people (ie non-memebers) will be able to get them soon and no doubt at half the price.

I heard that ONA (piano album) would definitely NOT be available to buy in stores, and they were still undecided as to whether they would even make it available thru NPGMC Retail.
