Wow! What a show! The man ain't lost a thing over the years! Ive still got ringing in my left ear (hmmm, may have to go check it out...seriously!)
Soundcheck:
Really cool experience! Prince was about 10 or so rows behind us giving instructions to the band (They were rehearsing a Robin tune). This was to be one of the songs P & NPG were to play. The soundcheck also included Joy in Repitition (awesome),Everlasting Now (a nice long jam with the occassional stop) & a really cool musical workout backed with the Family Name groove. Prince also got some of the NPGMC members onstage to Paisley Park. That was really good to hear live...even with the honest, and sometimes comical attempts by the members to sing back-up. Im sure Im missing somethings, but no doubt someone else will fill in the blanks. The soundcheck was well worth the price of admission! Dont miss it! Oh yeah,...bring earplugs...its gonna b loud!
