That's a tough one. On the one hand, I'd expect the value to decrease over time with reissues and an aging fan base. Selling them now might be at their peak value unless you keep them a really long time. I'd hate for you to regret it though if there are other means of combatting the debt. | |

Difficult financial times are tough to bear. You have to love your family more that you love Prince, so it's fair to keep them in mind while weighing whether to sell your vinyl collection to sustain your cashflow. One rule of thumb is that these are only objects, and replaceable, if not easily so. If you feel you will not be able to replace the vinyl which you cherish, then hold onto it until circumstances allow you no other option! Guard your treasures wisely. | |
