as it used to be quite easy to find promotional copies of Prince back in the vinyl days, I wondered if anyone knows how many copies WB usually produced. Are we talking 1.000s of copies or 10.000 of copies? I own a couple of them, but remember they were really cheap to buy in 2nd hand record shops back then.

And - who received those? Radio stations? Journalists? Who receives them now-adays (just saw the other thread with the Clouds promo).
