Anybody knows Brandon Fonseca ? This "person" ripped me off on eBay. His nick there is blessinz88.
Been trying to solve the issue by mail. At first he replied to my mails, now he disappeared.
The thing is he tricked me. He said he'd ship my package within 10 days after payment, but it took him 30 days instead. Clever move: PayPal or eBay offers coverage for 45 days after a payment is made. He kept me waiting forever and now he disappeared. Oh well ...
Mods - Don't mean to cause the slightest trouble. Since I have no other way to search for this person, I thought that maybe he could be here or some fellow orger can contact him.

Thanks, luv4u!
Sadly both PayPal and eBay refuse to take any action because the payment was made over 45 days ago.
The seller ripped me off.

Oh my God. I'm in the same boat as you. I bought from him the ONA 3 disc set + piano in January and same story. I never got to see the CD's. After my first complaint, he sent me an invoice as some kind of 'proof', but just right before the claim expired. I sent him a few reminders, but never heard back from him since then.
In fact, I should have known. He contacted me after Ebay bidding had ended, which I lost, to tell me that he had a second copy and was willing to sell it for my bidding price.
I guess it is indeed too late for us, but want to ensure he is not ripping off more people. What can we do?

Really sorry to hear that, Junglelove! ...Not much we can do now, I'm afraid.
I find confusing all the positive feedback he has (or had, now that he seemed to disappear). And he seemed to be a "fan" anyway (not that makes you a better person, lol, but it certainly takes a unscrupulous character to rip off somebody with your very same interests ... silly me).
I've been hearing back from him up to April 15. Wouldn't hold my breath for the "lost" package (if actually ever sent) or a prompt refund.
Any ideas??? | |

not many, no. I tried the Ebay and Paypal route. I guess we can only just warn others, but considering he is no longer on Ebay, we won't be hearing frm him anymore under this name. The positive feedback he gathered over years convinced me not to raise a complaint immediately. But I guess I was wrong.

If its a paypal account, most of them are linked to a credit card, so I would contact your credit card company that the paypal payment came from, as they offer allot more cover for payments/internet sales.
Good luck.

Hi All,
I also got ripped off by blessinz88 on ebay. He shipped my order but it was somehow "not deliverable". It came to my local post office twice and then apparently the exact address was illegible or something; not sure what. Anyway, the package was then re-routed back to the source a couple of times. He replied via ebay messaging that he would take care of it, and then a couple of weeks ago I requested an update (as I'd paid for this on 3/4); that's when I found out he was no longer registered on ebay, so went to file an ebay protectionclaim and found out that I had waited too long, since there's a 45 day limit after payment. Ugh. So I figure I'm screwed.
However, I emailed ebay, and within 1 day, had full refund into my paypal account, even though the 45 day limit had passed. So, super shame onto Brandon Fonseca "blessinz88" but hats off to the folks at ebay for wanting to take care of their good customers. I would recommend contacting them and opening a case for resolution, they did a fantastic job.
Having said all this, I'm not sure if Brandon's hose job was intentional or not. It may not have been, but I'm just relieved that I didn't lose my $250.00 in the end.
Best of luck with your situation.

Thanks for your comment, wwblazer !
What's the eBay mail address you contacted? ... I'm asking because I'm sistematically not allowed to contact them as I made my payment over 45 days ago.
Thanx! | |

Hi Psyche2,
I was also beyond 45 days of having paid, but within the ebay system, I clicked on "customer support", then "resolution center", and it allowed me to "open a case" to be reviewed by ebay customer support. They ruled in my favor and informed me within 1 day.
Hope this helps. | |

Thanks - But can't make it I get to the resolution center and when I try to open a case for my item I'm just not allowed. All I get is this message over and over:
We couldn't find any items that matched this number.
Try searching again or view your recently purchased items. You can also try starting over. ...Dunno how you actually made it, but good for you!

Hmmmm,
Well, I can tell you that the emails I received from the ebay folks re: the claim resolution appear to be from the following email address: ebay@ebay.com
Not sure what happens when you type that into an address line to send them a message, but you might want to try it.
