ticket sales What's the difference between GEN ADM, FLOOR, and STANDING when purchasing tickets??? Does anybody know?? Thanks in advance!! | |

the Gen Adm can still be by sections (with or without seats but unless it says floor or standing I would assume seats), Floor is on the floor so it seems if you get there first it will ne front row, Standing can also be by section (either on the floor or by levles or in sections set aside) "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

I'm still confused... I dont know what tix to buy so I can get right up front??? Are there even seats?? The tix are GA, Floor G/A8, Floor G/0, Standing, Floor G/A9... can anyone help me???? I would sooooo appreciate any assist!!! Thanx!! | |

Floor: Floor seats are those on the main floor. The are going to be the ones closest to the stage.
General Admission: General admission seating means that there are no assigned seats, that you get a ticket to enter the venue and you go to what ever seat you want. Few concerts do that any more as it has led to many injuries and even deaths as people trample each other trying to get to the best seats.
Standing: Means you will be standing. There will be no chairs to sit on. An event is described as standing room only when it is so well-attended that all of the chairs in the venue are occupied, leaving only flat spaces of pavement or flooring for other attendees to stand. Some venues issue standing-room-only (or SRO) tickets for a reduced cost since it can become very uncomfortable to stand through the course of an event. However some fans actually prefer standing-room-only tickets as the crowds that gather can be more active than people who are sitting down for much of the event.
Depends on the floor plan of the venue you are attending where those seats are allocated.
