If you're talking about the Live USA CDs, they are official, they have an ISBN & Catalogue Nr. and can be bought on i.e. amazon etc.I bought them in a big shopping center back then. I bought all my CDs from big record stores, so please don't start any rumours, thanks!

I'm afraid that your Live & Alive and Live USA items are unofficial. I found the Live And Alive series on this site for unofficial Prince recordings http://main.thedigitalgar...vol-2.html Also, When googled, the ISBN numbers on these releases do not match any documents.
No one is starting any rumours, no one is accusing you of knowingly selling unofficial discs. You obviously bought these in good faith and were unaware that they were bootlegs. It's an easy mistake to make.

sorry you are right! I did some research now and found articles about imtrat being a label that back in the 80's (when I bought the CDs with bill/invoice & everything) was legal in Europe using some sort of legal gap. They produced a whole series of these & sold them officially in stores. Thanks for letting me know, I've already deleted the offers in question, those CDs will not be sold here or anywhere else by me. I'm really shocked somehow, they looked, well "different", but not unofficial at all with both ISBN and cat.-nr. and artwork - I would never have guessed! Sorry! | |

^^ I seem to recall hearing something along those lines too. I think there was an Italian label (and possibly others) doing the same thing.
