don't mean to get off topic but I went to her site and I'm reading her blog/ramblings and something stood out: I BELIEVE IN INDULGING AS A USER AND NOT AS AN ABUSER.

and this:

"THE GRACE JONES SHOW WILL OFTEN DEVOLVE INTO MAYHEM. SHE’LL THROW CHAMPAGNE BOTTLES AT THE AUDIENCE, DRAG FANS ONTO THE STAGE BY THEIR HAIR. SHE ONCE JUMPED AT ME STILETTOS FIRST. ACTUAL FIGHTS HAVE BROKEN OUT. SHE MIGHT TOKE ON A JOINT, PERFORM NAKED, OR IN TEARS. SOMETIMES SHE HAS CHATTED FOR HALF AN HOUR AND HAD TO REPEAT A SONG SO THAT SHE CAN ACTUALLY SING IT PROPERLY. SHE’S SHOT US ALL THE FINGER, STORMED OFFSTAGE AND THEN BURST BACK AS IF NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. NOT SHOWING UP, SHOWING UP SIX HOURS LATE, DOING TWO-SONG SETS IS COMMON. – A FAN."

so our little gracie is a Head? weed
a pretty one
ummmmm...

I don't think Grace has an official site (shame!), but she has some freaky-ass fan sites out there.

Yes kids, 'Nightclubbing' by the Demolition Man herself.
It's a perfectly crafted collage of:
New Wave, Dub, Reagge, Pop, Funk, Disco & R&B.
Miss Jones' torchy voice against those sulphurous sounds...
it's an excellent after sex album,
u know when u have that little smoke ...or even during if u don't smoke

...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart...

Grace Jones attended Jade Jagger's birthday last year in a bar in Mayfair, London. She disappeared into a cubicle
for ages and then burst out, executing karate moves through the astounded crowd whilst announcing loudly in a fake
German accent: "Here is ze cocaine autobahn!"
lol

I LOVE this woman. bow

'Pull Up To The Bumper' is probably my fave song ever - and one of the dirtiest, smuttiest pieces of crossover funk/pOp ever. bow

'I’LL STILL BE PUTTING MY MAKE UP ON WHEN I’M SIXTY.
I’LL BE WRITING - MY SONGS ARE LIKE LITTLE STORIES.
I’LL STILL BE LIVING IN PARIS. IT'S AN OLDER CULTURE, THERE IS NO JUDGMENT IN PARIS.
IT’S THE ONLY PLACE I CAN BE TRULY COMFORTABLE.
IN AMERICA, MY GOD, THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT NOSTALGIA BEFORE THEY'RE EVEN OLD.
I'LL BE HAVING A BALL WHATEVER...WOHAHAHAHAHHHAHHA!'

I dig Nightclubbing, although I haven't listened to it in years. When I first bought it I was shocked to find out Grace can actually sing. Check out "I've Done It Again"...at least if I remember right that's what it's called. confused

Oh man, yeah - she has a great voice. Great voice, great stage presence, and she knows how to play an accordion while dressed in a gorilla costume. What more do you need?

I saw Grace at an AIDS Dance years ago. She was hot!

And now, ladies and gentlemmmaaaannnn, heeeeere's Grace!

"Slave to the Rhythm" is the joint. I love this album. The only real song is "Slave to the Rhythm" but there are several variations (guess you could call them remixes). And I loved the video.

And I really liked the video that had all of those Grace clones. But, I can't remember the name of the song. neutral

How about her turn in VamP?

Totally Grace - and the track she did 4 it was awesome...finally managed 2 get it off KaZaA awhile back, even though it was ripped from the film - still hella cool.

She could fuck me anyday.
