Syreeta (1972)

One of the first albums/artists Stevie Wonder produced and how ridiculously underrated it is, IMHO. Although I prefer Stevie's own version of "I Love Every Little Thing About You," Syreeta does just as well because it's a completely different arrangement. Also songs like "Black Maybe" and the cover of The Beatles's "She's Leaving Home" are quite interesting (in how Stevie uses the clavinet and talkbox as the background vocals). music

Any other comments on this artist or her music?

Anyway, I have her greatest hits album(which is import just like the rest of her albums rolleyes).

British RnB/Soul/Funk critic/writer David Nathan made one helleva essay about her and also an interview which u could read in his website. Check it out!

Nah, Syreeta didn't have a child with Stevie. Yolanda Simmons, his lover at the time, had his first two children.

Thanks for the heads up on that interview. I'm gonna check that out. thumbs up!
