I bought Moon Safari when it just came out and I have to
admit that although I liked it, I wasn't crazy about it.

Probably the fact that "Sexy Boy" was to be heard any and
everywhere at the time made me dislike that song so much
that it ruined the album as a whole for me.

But now, years later, I finally got round to giving the
album another well deserved try and fell in love with it
again.

I have to admit, I've only heard "The Virgin Suicides"
a couple of times over at a friends house and it seems
interesting enough.

check out 'Premiere Symptomes', it is music from before 'Moon Safari', but was released afterwards. It has a interesting instrumental interpretation of 'All I Need' on it.

I don't have Air Moon...but I do have the Virgin Suicides and I reaaallly like that CD. Of Course, I was in school when it came out and it made perfect studying music, but I still dig it. Haunting and lush, a gorgeous CD...

ps--I'll co-sign abierman's comment, Premier Symptomes is excellent...

pps- I have read some very god things about Air's new CD...does anyone have that yet?

I have to get Air. DAMN! I got the Felicity soundtrack as a promo when I worked for Borders and they had a track on there that I just LOVE. Peter Gabriel was on it too.

I have their new one "Talkie Walkie" and I personally think its their best cd. It is very lush and beautiful, and every track flows like water.. its one of my favorite cd's right now.. Its hard to take out of the cd player:)

"Run" and "Universal Traveler" are brilliant

Love it! I first discovered them in The Virgin Suicides and thought it was awesome. Right after that I got Moon Safari, but I still have yet to get their latest. I LOVE "Ce Matin La".

Talkie Walkie

Reviewed by Michael Endelman

On their third proper album, Talkie Walkie, Air continue the languorous lounge style pioneered on their stunning '98 debut, but producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead) helps the French duo bring their soft-focus sound into sharper relief. Tighter songwriting and an undercurrent of dark claustrophobia distinguish the disc from its predecessors, while the dreamy space pop will have you floating in the clouds, if not above them.

yup, that sums it up well!

Moon Safari is bliss. It's a toss up between that and Massive Attack's "Mezzanine".

Haven't heard the Virgin Suicide's OST, it gets mixed reviews, so maybe it's safer for me to just burn it when a copy swings my way...
