these people don't just come out of nowhere. some of them do, but most of them have busted their asses from the time they were children to get where they were. they don't JUST get their on their looks. 3/5 of all boyband members are butt-ugly.

and even if they don't, if they've got a good voice or talent, why deny them the ability to make a living from it?

that would be like people employed at some company for 20 years, who think they know it all and no one is going to get into their elite circle, and some guy from the mail room fills out an application for the same position they've been stagnating in for 20 years, gets the job, does it well, and gets promoted ahead of them because he's got the skills and the talent to do it. of course they're bitter and jealous and say he didn't earn it, but hell, if they were so great, they would have moved up in the company too.
