tara Kemp? she had 2 great songs in the early 90s..."hold you tight" and "piece of my heart" i remember in piece of my heart there's this line by some reggae dude that sounds like he's saying "i got the playboy channel." but to this day i can't figure out what e is saying--something like "...flavor jive..."

I remember Tara Kemp! I was in a record store with her CD in my hand,and I came really close to buying it.I loved her 1991 debut single "Hold You Tight"...

I saw her on an episode of "Video Soul" with Donnie Simpson and she revealed that she was good friends with Rosie Gaines.Years earlier,the two of them were in a band together.This means that,if she had introduced Tara to you-know-who,Tara MAY have become another Prince protege...lol
