Normally, Annie is a phenomenal singer (if you can't say anything nice...)

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were also on stage shortly afterwards.

Check Sheila E. at the Premier Awards

biggrin

Well I mean she is 70, also she was trying and did take it to the emotional levels with the cracking in her voice, I mean same could be said of Stevie not sounding as good as he normally does too. A quick scan of the audience and Olivia Rodrigo and Lenny K at her table, looked like Prince for a second, very eerie in a way.

This was a horrible sounding performance. I like a lot of what she has done in the Eurythmics and her solo career. Just horrid. Not even the emotion is delivered. And no to making a political statement during a song that is meant to be honoring departed singers and artists. Don't use this as bandwagon to drag along and minimalize those who have passed. Shitty.

It's hard to hear, but Wendy's guitar sound is so beautiful!

Warm and Princely.

Wendy and Lisa were at USC for a Q&A the other night. They have confirmed they are working with Annie Lennox on a new project!

the best thing about this is W&L. i forgot how much i like their tone, or just their sound. wendys guitar in particular, maaan, makes me think of the revolution. annie isnt bad, but she over does it - just a bit more power than needed.
