Vandross Estate Announces Reissues On 70s Albums

For the first time ever, the "Luther" and "This Close To You" will be available on CD and digitally. They will also be issued again on vinyl. April and June respectively. These albums featured the group Luther with Vandross handling a majority of the lead vocals.

Nice thumbs up!
In Europe semi legal CD copies were sold of Luther and This Close To You in the 90s. This was during the early 90s when there was a boom of dodgy CDs were pressed from vinyl sources and sold with a "nice price" sticker (those CD's cost max $10)

That's how I got Aretha's last 5 Atlantic albums on CD. Still hoping her estate is planning to officially reissue those albums onto CD now that her estate seems to be settled.
