Well, to be honest I didn't know either of them wrote their own songs!
Having said that, I only like a few songs of them. Britney's "Oops..", "One More Time..." and "Toxic" are fantastic pop songs IMHO. So are "Halo", "Me, Myself and I" and "Crazy In Love". Assuming they wrote these songs themselves (which I highly doubt) Britney has the edge for me. She is also slightly less annoying than Beyonce. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

To be honest, it took me a while to get into Toxic, but once my (now ex-)girlfriend started playing it a lot I started to notice the production of this track is very good. So no, I am not joking, LOL!  RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |
