I love EC and it was a lovely tribute. That song still makes me emotional, it’s hard to here anyone sing it most times and I bet the lyrics resonate with him too. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2 | |

He did a good job, Purple Rain is a hard one to take on. He has his own style and respectfully did it as Eric Clapton, not trying to imitate Prince & the Revolution. Good job. | |

Not a bad cover. Whenever I hear Eric's music I always think back to this one boss I had back in 1990. He'd BLAST Eric Clapton EVERYDAY in the office. Telling us youngsters what real music was. When he would get angry he'd stand on his desk and jump up and down and kick all his paperwork off his desk. | |
