Need help with a playlist...

Looking to make a playlist of songs that are a bit funky/soulful but have a pretty significant guitar and freestyle sound as it drags on. This is a specific sound I'm looking for and right now I'm down to two songs only, sad to say;

-Get Me Back On Time Engine Number 9 by Wilson Pickett

-You Can Leave But It's Going To Cost You (Extended Mix) by Marvin Gaye

Any suggestions? I figured this would be the best place to ask.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
