Wouldn't bother counting the charts after about 2005 ... pretty dead concept after that for most people.

RE: Bad by Michael Jackson. 'Leave Me Alone' and 'Liberian Girl' charted here in the Netherlands, hitting #5 and #14 on our Top 40 respectively. This racks up the hit single count of Bad up to nine (out of eleven album tracks), which is incredible.

Source? Is this list based on US Billboard Hot 100 chart entries? I ask because there are artists that never charted here but had great success outside of the US.

"Leave Me Alone" was a bonus track on the 'Bad' CD. I had the vinyl so I never heard the song until the video came out.

i have the vinyl ( = original) as well, so it's not really on the album. Much like 'into the groove' by Madonna.

I took the info off of a now dead forum:

And yes, it is based on US Billboard Hot 100 chart data.

I think Katy Perry has one of her records with 6 or 7, but to be honest now I can’t really take singles seriously because there is not a physical single and it’s almost about radio play and not sales in reality. So when albums back in those days like a Def Leppard or Springsteen etc...they were selling too plus millions of albums and getting radio and video play and touring now it’s streams and clicks and not really real.

Fearless never did have 13 singles. A lot of songs charted, but they weren't singles.
