the musical is coming to broadway in april.

.

.

i saw it in san diego. I enjoyed it but it needs work to be 'broadway material' IMO.

Soul...Yes it did take me surprise back then. Casablanca really promoted her well and she seemed to be one of their major top artists. I guess her accountants told her some things that she wasn't aware of and then it was "all guns a'blazin'"!

I haven't seen it yet,but the idea of a Donna Summer musical is bittersweet to me.Throughout the late 90s and into the 2000s,she was actually working on her own musical based on her life story.It was titled 'Ordinary Girl'.Such a shame that she never got the chance to do it.
