Adorecream

He seems to be getting lighter and lighter lately. I have the feeling he is only half Black and now claiming to be white (Irish). To me I have always seen him as Black, as he is an exceptional soul singer and this neo hippy stuff he has picke dup, does not suit him or his voice at all. The new music is okay, but lacks the excitement and vocal punch of his earlier Sananda material and the gold of the Terence Trent D['Arby stuff. He needs to rock out or do an album of say soul standards.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Wha..? from what place are your comments are coming from? He's got songs on Prometheus & Pandora that originate from his TTD and early Sananda days. confused

He's does his "Post Millenium Rock" stuff that totally rocks and covers the soul front, but we're covering love songs on this thread.

Regardless, it's okay to admit that you don't like the music. There are plenty of great artists around starving for attention to support. foodnow

Sorry Germanegro, the new music is alright but I just really love that older vibe in his Wildcard and earlier stuff. I will stilll listen to the new music and buy it, after all he needs our support. But it is like me even with Prince and MJ and even Lenny Kravitz, the 80s and 90s stuff is always better to me.

.

I mean he is a seriously talented Musician and I can never get enough of his voice and it still comes through on these new songs, but when you hear it on Dance Little Sister and Holding on to you - it just zaps the synapses of my system, guess I am just a bit simple minded.

^^^Eh--no need to apologize, Adorecream. The songs are there to enjoy as you wish. Some have an inextricable attraction to the earlier music that simply outshines the present gems.

This one lays a smooth groove for me and my chosen (and each of yours') to be down for the getdown--coming from The Rise of the Zugebrian Time Lords, it's yours.
