Great news, thank you for sharing. I like the rock edge of a lot of the classic Isley catalog so this should be a great listen. They put on a great live show separately I bet a concert of this material and some of their hits performed together would be awesome.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Dearest Friends,

I would love to share with you a love offering that my wife Cindy and I created with and for the Isley Brothers. It was an honor to create this “Masterpiece of Joy” with Ronnie and Ernie Isley. Ronnie is truly the last iconic voice of our generation. The songs are familiar but totally new. The CD tells a story that the world needs to hear now, more than ever. Each song creates a seamless symmetry of sound, resonance and vibration.

Please enjoy,
Carlos Santana

I love how,at this stage in his career,Carlos seems to be following his dreams and doing exactly what he wants to do.A few years ago,he reunited the original Santana Band for an album and now he's got this new project with the Isley Brothers. He also has plans to do a jazz album with Herbie Hancock,Wayne Shorter and others. The sky's the limit.

Listening to my iTunes digital copy cool this album is smooth and mesmerizing."Body Talk" is an early favorite music they do a great job with Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground",but I could do without the rap.
