I looked at old clips of her on Dancing with The Stars and she was Phenomenal...Nobody saw that coming...No matter how flawless she was they were not gonna let a Female Rapper win that thing..

i dint remember her being perfect but she was making in the final couple stars! I remember people booing when she was eliminated!!! sad

bump

What do you all think of the HARDCORE album?

along with "Dirty Harriet" by Rah Digga, "Hardcore" is the best female rap album ever...even though Biggie wrote it and she didnt...most female MCs dont write their own stuff anyway...

Was just on the TLC thread and gotta mention that funky, fun version of Ladies Night with Lisa Left Eye, Angie Martinez, and Missy Elliot. That single was the great it had the Crush On You video version, and Drugs (not a remix actually). Good times haha.

i keep wondering did biggie just not take any credit whatsoever on the album because he is not even listed on the publishing rights like this for example:

NOT TONIGHT

I find her Notorious Kim album even more interesting however. people like to stop with just Hardcore but really she was GREAT during that Notorious KIM period all the way into Naked Truth.

Biggie wrote SOME for Kim, not all of it. I know Jay-Z penned half of Foxy Brown's Ill Na Na. It's okay, Big Daddy Kane wrote half of Biz Markie's Goin' Off.

historically as a practice in hiphop, ghostwriters are almost never credited and accordingly are paid off the books
