Candy was in Aschaffenburg, Germany with Chance Howard.

The concert was absolutely amazing, we all went crazy, and the band liked the atmosphere really much, I think.

Chance Howard told a short story:


One evening me and my buddy Prince hung out in the studio, organizing thing, you know, and I asked him how what his favorite song was, apart from Purple Rain, because we all knew it was his favorite, and he told me.

This is the song we'll be playing next.


It was "Cool".



Seeing Chance in person at such close distance was great because I saw that tour video where Prince was sometimes disguised, and it could be seen that Chance was rather close and private with Prince because the two teased each other.


During the concert, I stood like 1 meter in front of Chance who sat on a chair right at the front of the stage, and if I hadn't been sick with a cold, I could have been able to shake his hand, if he wanted to.


His face is really interesting and expressive, and I could imagine how Prince would have liked that as well.


Also, Chance was extremely funny.

There was a really big guy next to me, who made loud comments in English like "Bring it on, man!" and "Yeah, yeah!!" whenever Chance said something, and Chance pretended not to hear it (like an showman on stage).


At one point, Chance asked everybody to raise his / her right hand, and the big guy didn't.

Chance turned to him and asked him "Do you have a right hand?", and the guy was embararssed and mumbled something and finally raised his right hand, and Chance said "No, the other one!".

Really great, I can only recommend it to those who want some Prince spirit.
