DeBarge Family Appreciation Thread

I know I've started one of these before and had no success, but I wanna try this again. I'm gonna dedicate this thread to the music of the imfamous DeBarge family. Come and post pics, vids, memories,e tc. of the family, but no negative stuff or anyone. No bashing of anyone in the family will be allowed on here. Keep it nice, clean, positive and mostly about the music.

lool

I had forgotten all about this song until last week. And here's a performance from the short-lived USA Network edition of American Bandstand post-Dick Clark as host.

I've always felt this was a great cover Marvin's incredible song, and It's definitely for the grown and sexy crowds.

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

Ottensen

Some 35 years after the release of the All This Love album, every time I go back and listen to a lot of the tracks on here, I can't believe how well crafted this record is: between the production, the boys playing most of the instruments and the music and vocal arrangements, this family was sick talented. I can think of few, if any young people on charts today that can touch the well of talent that existed in this bunch.
