Pure Pop Music: Elliott Smith's Figure 8


If you like multi-instrumentalists with a facility for writing Beatles-esque compositions with
interesting chord progressions, then you may enjoy Elliott Smith's Figure 8, which I think
is my favorite of his albums released:

Identity

Tragic figure. I discovered Smith's music several years ago. He's certainly worthy of the critical accolades he has garnered. "Son of Sam" is irresistible.
