Cool to look at the archives. Prince had #1 album in 1987, #2 in 1984 and the sexy triology of Dirty Mind/Controversy and 1999 all top tenned. For singles, WDC was #1 in 1984, SOTT in 1987 #1. First single to Top 10 was Controversy in 1981, 1999 and LRC charted, and so did LGC. 3 songs charted in 1987's top 10 and Kiss was in 1986. Alphabet street was the alst to chart in 1988 at #4.

Is it just me or these critics' lists so predictable? David Bowie and Beyonce at the top again! They're great and everything but there's a lot of other interesting music out there that needs more coverage and acclaim.
