Whitney probably coulda been a model of some sorts, so I say Whitney.

Whitney is the most beautiful pop star, she was breath taking gorgeous. She had no surgery and was naturally stunning. She could have been a model if she wanted too. Mariah is not unattractive but she is average looking.

Both were gorgeous, but I would have to say Whitney, hands down.

definitely Whitney...Mariah was always more Thickalicious than Whitney..Mariah's profile says she's either 46 or 47, whatever that's supposed to mean...She looks Damn good at either age...

I think there is a good argument to be made that her prime (singing and beautiy) started in 1985 with her first album. If not 1985, then 1987 with her second album. She had enormous success with both albums. She reached her peak with the Bodyguard, for sure.

In their prime, I would have to say Whitney for sure. Mariah had a more girl next door look til she released the Butterfly album and changed her image.

One of the aspects of Whitney's style that I love is that she was so classy. She dressed her age. She didn't show too much skin.

i could start a "Strange Confessions" thread about that first album cover ...no vaseline vats, though...but still...that album cover was on my bedroom wall for a while... ...she was so sexy b4 the crack kicked in

Whitney wore less make up and was naturally glowing. Mariah started packing on the makeup by the Butterfly album.

I don't mean prime as in stardom. In that way that you are refering to I agree. Whitney reached superstardom in the 90s.
But my post was about her prime, physically, hence 'who was better looking in their prime
