I played J5, JB and Joe Tex.x-mas tunes on the radio the other not. I didn't want to play too much Christmas music. It's still November.

At the risk of seriously upsetting myself, I'd recommend the George Michael song "December Song". I don't know how to post youtube videos on here but if I did, I still probably wouldn't do it. It's a really beautiful song but I cry every time I hear it. Personal stuff. But nevertheless, it's a great song.

I must own nearly a dozen christmas albums, but here's a few I love that you may not know...

Gotta admit, the new kids one is surprisenly heartfelt. I know critics would snub it, but I think it's well written cheese and the production is surprisenly quite tasteful from Maurice Starr considering what a cash-in this album was. I like the slightly off key Donnie Wahlberg and Jordan Knights confident falsetto on the verses. A decent original christmas song!

"Oh Santa!"

love2 love2 love2 love2 Her version of Santa Baby is unmatched. I LOVE this entire album (A Very Special Christmas)! I grew up with it. My favorite song on the album is Whitney's "Do You Hear What I Hear?"

I am hoping for a constitutional amendment banning anyone from covering this song ever again. Artists great and small have tried and failed. Miserably.

Not sure I'd go as far as a constitutinal amendment, but I agree that Donny's original is still the gold standard.
