Also Britons are far more tolerant of novelty songs and the chritsmas number one is usually a novelty like Mr Blobby or Bob the builder and Ernie the fastest milkman in the west type stuff.

They should separate Bad song list out of deliberate ones (People who are making known novelty songs) and unintentionally bad ones (Vanilla Ice, Los Ketchup).

Then by decades, most people under 30 have not heard of the Purple People eater or anything by the Monkees and most old people over 70 have no idea what a schnappi or a crazy frog is.

Maybe even separate lists for non English novelties like Sailormadchen and sukiyuky.
