Anyone xcited for Jamie Lidell new album coming out soon? This album follows his 2011 release "Jamie Lidell", which featured the very funky "You Naked" and "Big Love".

Jamie Lidell - Building A Beginning

Jamie Lidell has returned after a three-year hiatus since his self-titled effort to bring us his seventh album, Building A Beginning. Lidell has already shared the lead single “Walk Right Back,” and today we get to hear the title track. “Building A Beginning” is a soulful mission statement, with Lidell’s smooth croon lifted by funk-inflected R&B as it slowly grooves into an anthemic feel. He sings of setting a strong foundation for a relationship build upon, with raw, simple but penetrating lines. The British singer seems to be rejuvenated for a new beginning of his own judging from the first couple forays into the album. Listen.
