Johnny Hates Jazz ~ I Don't Want To Be A Hero

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

^^I don't really like the video with the war clips, that's why I posted the other one. The footage doesn't really look right mixed with showing the band dressed nicely with groomed hair. The message of the song is clear without the footage, it's not necessary.

If you don't like my taste in music, then you don't have to click on my threads and always leave these sort of comments. I don't believe in "lesser songs". I either like a song and/or performer or I don't. I'm no music snob who thinks they have some sort of superior taste and say things like "real music by real musicians". All music is real.

This songs always sounded similar to Shalamar's "I Can Make You Feel Good"

Katie Kinisky: "So What Are The Latest Dances, Nell?"
Nell Carter: "Anything The Black Folks did Last Year"
