Janet Jackson shares video honoring victims of Orlando nightclub attack

-

-

Musicians including Lady Gaga, Adele, and Dixie Chicks have paid tribute to the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub, and on Tuesday, Janet Jackson shared a video honoring those affected by the tragedy.

-

Set to “Shoulda Known Better,” off the singer’s 2015 albumUnbreakable, the video includes photos of the victims and clips of Barack Obama speaking about the need for gun control. An avid Jackson fan named Lamont Hicks initially posted the video on Monday, before Jackson herself shared it via Twitter with the caption “You’ll never be forgotten. #WeAreOrlando #Unbreakable.”

-

Early Sunday morning, a gunman attacked the popular Orlando gay nightclub Pulse, killing 49 people and wounding 53 others.

See the video tribute below via Jackson’s Twitter.

Very sad video. I actually followed one of the victims. His name was Shane and he was a huge Janet fan. I was shocked when I saw his face on TV. I live about an hour away from Orlando so this hit home. I'm still in shock.
