Anybody here waiting on Corinne's new album?

Corinne Bailey Rae finished recording and started the task of mixing her new album in 2015. I've checked on her Facebook page for an update on the doings but I haven't seen anything mentioned along this line. Anybody know 'bout the timeframe of this project? Sure, fine product takes time!

I've been waiting but haven't heard anything about a new project.

She'd been spending much time recording at the studios of Capitol Records and Electric Ladyland, and had some notable session musicians working with her (see:http://corinnebaileyrae.com/). After all of the recording business was done, she opened a survey out to fans for them to recommend venues for her to consider booking for her *next* tour. There haven't been any other notifications from her FB site or the Capitol Record company since early last year, by my recollection.

I liked it but too many bad break up memories.

There was quite a lot of grieving going on in her last album, "The Sea." I Would Like to Call it Beauty was so delicate and poigniant. I'm excited to hear what she has moved on to, lyrically.

This kind of reminds me of Two Hearts by Stephanie Mills and Teddy P.

Yeah, there are existing similarities, particularly in the chorus.

She's done a great title track for the new Sky 1 Drama, Lucky Man.

The first single.

I like the added elements and experimentation with her sound.

Given these first two singles' debut, it sounds like Corinne is giving us a focused Rhythm & Blues project for 2016. Sunnyside, thus far! sun

I'm looking forward to the overall change in mood because the sea was quite sad.
