I wouldn't go that far. She's attractive but she skews a little too much on the 'minor' side to be considered fuckable.

Music-wise, I like her more than just about every other female pop star we have now but at the same time, she has yet to make much an impact outside of being a cute girl who can sing well. She at least has a somewhat identifiable voice and her vocal prowess is incredible but the bulk of her material has been generic, flavorless pop. Her debut album and the Christmas EP she dropped last year were her best works but still aren't anything special; particularly her debut. Outside of a few songs, I'll likely never listen to it again.

"Focus" is a hot song though, I like it too. It has the catchiness and flavor of early 2000's pop. It has a nice groove and is pretty danceable; the unfortunate thing is I barely hear it get the airplay or recognition of most hits. Ah well, overexposure kills the allure so let's keep it that way if we must.

I think she's all kinds of sexy. She effortlessly pulls off the innocent girl- next-door look and yet there's a flawless coquettish appeal about her.

The SNL rendition of "Dangerous Woman" was, I think, the first song of hers I've ever
listened to. I thought it was a great performance. I've no desire to listen to any of
her other stuff, but yeah, it was really good!

"Problem" wasn't bad either. It gets bonus points for being the only song I enjoy with Iggy Azalea in it.

I finally watched her SNL as guest AND musical performer. It's easy to forget she came from Nickelodeon because I wasn't watching her shows, but she was a great fit for this show. Didn't look like she flubbed up anything.

I've seen Ariana perform Live on TV and she is no Keyshia Cole...Keyshia is a Solid Soulful Singer. She's a great Belter and you feel the "plea' in her vocals.....Ariana wants to be something that she's not..People BRAG about Ariana's so called Powerhouse voice and I have yet to witness it when she sings..All I ever hear from her is a tired ballad...She's a "whisper" singer and her vocals are forgettable...She is Gorgeous and she has Sexy Legs....

You're being too harsh on Grande. The SNL skit where she mimics Whitney, Britney, Celine,
Rihanna, and Shakira reveals a pretty powerful voice and that she can control it too.

But anyways, taste is up to the individual because I think she's only kinda cute and her legs are
much too skinny for me.

Mariah Carey may have one more octave (probably in the lower register as Grande can hit the
whistle register too) on Grande, but I don't think the comparisons between the two are off-based
if you're talking about vocals only. Musically, I have no clue as I don't listen to either's albums.

Hey Hey Cinny What the... razz I think she should make a jazz album, but it won't happen. That show she did with Jazz version of her pop songs was the best thing on that show(Billboards I think) At least Christina did some Jazz stuff. Mariah I gave up on her.

the album features a duet with Macy Gray (Leave me lonely)
This album looks very promising, the first two singles were stellar.
This is not her fall off point as some of you mentioned previously but instead when she aims to make a leap artistically. It appears she's nailed it.
there seems to be a blues, pop/ soul sound to the record so far.
