Because these awards KNOW HOW TO DO IT. American shows and their producers know jack shit about putting shows together, from the morons that produce shows like the AMA's or the VMA's or The Grammy's right down to the fucking Oscars, they all suck. The European shows are always filled with Proper and thought out events where in america we are all about shock and antics and Bullshit. Now this Bowie tribute was perfect, because AS I SAID before it was about Bowie, I heard reviews the next day after the grammy's and NO ONE was mentioning BOWIE, it was allabout GaGa etc... ANd that is not a tribute, that is a impersonation, by doing all that dressing up (6 weeks after his death) it was tasteless and NOT THOUGHT OUT. And it was all about ratings, and the Grammy's feeling pressure if they didnt do something, well sometimes NOTHING is better than something. Also as I said did the grammy's even approach anyone from DAVID's era to speak or even be part of this tribute, and the answer is NO NO NO the grammy's contacted not one person, Gaga was someone CBS had on hand to do it, and felt that was enough, and sadly it wasnt enough it was too friggin much of the wrong thing. AND again this is not about her or her talent, people didn't enjoy how this was put together, she was OK just OK, but if they were going to do it, do it with a few other people this IM SORRY looked like a tasteless vegas show, which is fine down the line but sorry the death is still fresh in everyones minds as Annie Lennox and Gary Oldman stated, CLASS vs NO CLASS.
