No,her best album is Ray Of Light.

The first song on that album,"Drowned World/Substitute For Love",is the best song that Madonna ever recorded music

True Blue is a very strong album, its so upbeat and 80s froth on one side, but it is also timeless, White Heat, True Blue, Wheres the Party, Jimmy Jimmy the poppy stuff is timeless.

.

I agree too, that Hard candy has some better stuff like Miles Away (A beautiful song), She's not me, but one song overlooked by nearly everyone here, but I can't get enough of is "Dance 2night" that is a very funky Prince/JT like song and Madonna is singing in that husky voice. Totally overlooked. Spanish Lesson is not too bad either. I think may have to regrade Hard Candy. sad

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I've said this from day one: Hard Candy is a jam fest headbang A non-stop,party album filled with catchy jams."Miles Away" is my favorite track, but I also love "Give It 2 Me","Heartbeat","She's Not Me","Beat Goes On" and "Dance 2Night".And then you have the club banger "4 Minutes".A very solid album that many fans don't appreciate, but I love it.

And it is better than its predecessor Confessions, that album has a a dance beat in it, but unlike what she said about being a dance from start to finish, its hard to dance to Isaac! Also it seems larded over with overdubs and production, whereas Hard Candy is simply, freer and a lot funkier, I agree, I am dropping Confessions to a 5/10 (I still love Jump, I'm Sorry and Hung up) and putting Candy up to a 6.

.

Still dosen't compare to the album True Blue, that is a great dance album, listening to White Heat, that songs still sounds fresh now!

Get up, Stand tall, Get your back against the wall, because my love is dangerous, this is a bust! biggrin

[Edited 2/14/16 13:32pm]

But now compare all that to "Bitch I'm Madonna", the song is not even that catchy and she is singing in that annoying girlie voice where she sounds like she is 21. I bet a lot of you hardcore Madge fans can't stand Bitch I'm Madonna either. Maybe she should rename it "Bitch I was Madonna"

Maybe I guess, I go hot and cold with Madge post Bedtime Stories, one week I love something then I don't. I guess all her post 1995 material is okay except american life and the last 2 albums. Another underrated album is Music, What it feels like, Impressive Instant and Runaway lover are amazing!

I'm not a fan of Timbaland's production on the song or Justin's backing vocals.
The song was originally to be produced by Mirwais. I would have preferred to hear that version

Never really got into it, maybe I need to sit down and listen to it one of these days, of all her albums its the one I am least familiar with. Just does not seem very inviting, like it breaks the stream of brilliance between Music and Confessions.

American Life was a good album. I think Mirwais' more minimalistic approach was a good direction for Madonna however I think her songwriting suffered that era. The lyrics were sub-par.

Also there was no room for commerical pop singles. Everything was critical on that album and I can't see many mainstream listeners relating to her message.

Lastly I think the video for American Life should have been released. Yes I understand that the war was a sensitive issue at the time, but since when has Madonna really allowed that to stop her from conveying her opinions? It was a very un-Madonna moment and I think that ultimately worked against her.

Only the albums:

Like a Prayer (masterpiece)

Rebel Heart (She did it again)

Erotica

Like a Virgin (Nile Roger's production is ace)

Music

Ray of Light

Confessions on a Dancefloor

Madonna

American Life

Bedtime Stories (good songwriting but too slow for a Madonna album)

True Blue (great singles, dated 80s production)

Hard Candy

MDNA

Overall though I find enjoyable moments in all her work.
