Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris held a ‘TIDAL X: TIP’ pop up concert at Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall last night (February 22, 2016).
Just prior to his performance, Tip announced that he had entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Roc Nation for his forthcoming 10th studio album ‘Dime Trap’ to be released on his Grand Hustle Records, and that he has become the 19th artist/owner of TIDAL, the global music entertainment platform founded by Jay-Z.
Clearly it was a celebration of sorts, so T.I. also premiered his brand new video on Tidal last night which was shot by celebrity photographer/videographer Derek Blanks.

During the free pop-up performance, Tip brought out several Atlanta artists including Young Thug, Young Dro and Bankroll.

‘Money Talks’ is the first single from his upcoming album ‘Dime Trap, which will mark Tip’s return to his trap music roots, the genre he helped put on the map when he created Grand Hustle Records and released his multi-platinum album ‘Trap Muzik’ featuring classics “24’s,” ”Rubberband Man” and “Let’s Get Away.”
As T.I. revealed last fall, ‘Dime Trap’ will sound like “’Trap Muzik’ on steroids.”
Over the course of his career, Tip has won three Grammy Awards and has sold over 10 million albums in the US alone.
Along with releasing ‘Dime Trap,’ Tip will also star in History’s ‘Roots’ remake (May) and have a featured role in “Sleepless Night” starring Jamie Foxx and Gabrielle Union. Also the winter collections of his two clothing lines Hustle Gang & Akoo are currently in stores and the sixth season of his hit VH1 Show ‘‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,’ is set to air in the Spring.
