I liked Columbia House or BMG Music Service when I wasn't living anywhere near a music store and could get stuff in the mail.

I remember the first ten CDs were a penny but after that each CD was like $26 each lol

BMG Music Service was OK back in the 1990's. After buying the first 6 CD for $1 each, I only paid for 1 CD at $15 and another CD at half-price and that was it.

Columbia House was THE worst! 10 CDs for a $1 each and then you had to buy 6 CDs at $15 + shipping & handling separately to complete you requirements and then you might still be locked in as a Columbia House member unless you seen them a letter requesting your membership cancelled. disbelief Excuse me, but some of us were better taking our chances just travelling to Tower Records or the Virgin Megastore. wink

Exactly the same conditions as the Doubleday club we had, joining special then 6 or 9 cds at regular prices and almost impossible to leave, not forgetting those excessive postage and handling fees.
Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
