Well folks, Alicia Keys has done it. She's covered Prince's "Adore"

And here is Prince's reaction when Alicia climbed on the piano and almost fell off... lol

I saw this. It was painful to hear. With the Prince tribute shows they need to stop b.s.ing D'Angelo or Maxwell are probably the only ones that could do this song well. On the positive Alicia is pretty girl.

IheartCali

I'm let down.

I heard this back in 2009 or 2010 BET awards.

I thought this thread was going to be about her new release of a STUDIO VERSION of Adore cover.

=(

I hate to say it.......but that is about 95% of her appeal.

I've heard talk of him doing it but I was unaware of there being an actual recording of his version. I like Bilal I think he's another along with D' and Max that could do justice to a Prince song. Particularly the falsetto ballads like Adore or Insatiable.

I totally agree. I actually think it's time for her to hang it up. I think she's fresh out of ideas and anything remotely interesting.

Absolutely fucking horrendous. Some songs are good to listen to, but should only be covered by the few who are suitable. This song and Alicia do not go together, particularly the last minute.
