Between "Just My Imagination," "My Girl" and "You're My Everything," it's hard to choose.

But my favorite Temps songs are their classic Christmas covers.

So hard to choose one.

If I had to pick one

This song was way ahead of it's time. I can just picture these guys

in the studio clapping and nodding their heads to that hypnotic Whitfield beat.

Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

The 1969 song "I can't get next to you" and 1970's "Ball of Confusion", best Kendricks only vocal is "Just my Imagination" from 1971.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Y'all need to listen to Ruffin's solo joints too!

.

My whole world ended the moment you left me (1969)

and

Walk away from love (1975)

.

Although you must agree, Dennis Edwards had some amazing vocals too and this comes out on Psychedelic shack, Cloud 9, Ball of Confusion and of course Papa was a rolling stone.

There's a solo cut too - Don't look any further - amazing.

Those are his well known solo songs, but for real, his version of "I Miss You" slays!!! Among my other favorite Ruffin solo's are "Wild Honey" and "Common Man". music

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
