If Mike recorded Jermaine's material, circa 1978-1982? Jermaine Jackson had some of the (IMO) most underrated R&B tunes in that era. Some songs were huge hits "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" and "Let's Get Serious." Would The Jacksons stuff of the same time period and Off The Wall have been hits if they were released on Motown instead of Epic? Labels make a difference. None of them would have been big hits if they were on Malaco. Those records wouldn't have been made in the 1st place as Malaco wouldn't have been able to afford Quincy Jones or any of the session guys who played on Jermaine's or the others records. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
